Summer Yoga Workshop with Sophy Hoare
‘The Body Moves as One”
Saturday 3rd July 2010 l0am to 4pm
Venue: Bamford Institute, Bamford, Derbyshire (just outside Sheffield)
Cost £40 Limited Places
Sophy Hoare worked with Vanda Scaravelli for a number of years and since then
has worked closely with Diane Long. Continuing the direction in which Vanda was
moving, this is a revolutionary approach to yoga. This workshop will explore
moving into the core of the body. Awakening the spine. The outer muscles relax
so that the body moves as one. No stretching, pushing, pulling, tensing, locking
or bracing. We do these things so much in our lives we don’t notice were doing
them. This approach allows for a subtle change in awareness that deepens over
time. Come & join us for a day of yoga that will allow time for practice &
discussion.
