Yorkshire and Humberside Organisation Structure

The Region is run by a voluntary committee who meet four times a year to organise events and deal with matters arising. A regional magazine called "Wheels Within" is published four times a year with news, views and events of a local nature.

Membership of the British Wheel of Yoga is currently £22.50 for members, for this you get four editions of "Spectrum", the National magazine, Yoga The World Over, for What's On information and four editions of "Wheels Within". Members also get discount on goods from the BWY-Shop and special rates for Seminars.

The Regional Congress is held annually at Cober Hill near Scarborough in December and this is always a really good pre-Christmas weekend for all, with internationally renowned tutors and a full supporting cast of professionals. Further details will be posted on this site in the Autumn and circulated to members in the Autumn issue of Wheels Within.

One of our main roles is to train teachers to the highest standards so that they can teach yoga safely and effectively.
